Don't buy this product.It does not come with a tip.So, it won't work on your Kindle.And forget trying to purchase one at any of the local electronic stores.
The iGo Universal Wall and Auto Charger works fine but not without buying another item, namely an adapter for your Kindle etc. The advertising does not tell you that in addition to the purchase price you must spend at least another $10 in order to be able to use the power supply.

Too bad there is a poor link from the Kindle hurting the rating of the igo, as that is a Kindle web page problem. gone are the tangle of chargers. I have had the Igo everywhere for 2.5 years of way too much travel; trundling it everywhere from drilling rigs to hotels and cars, and it has worked flawlessly. I have one very small palm sized pouch and charge a blackberry, a cell phone, a gps, and an ipod. It has worked well enough I stored the original chargers and use it even at home. I am buying a second as a gift.
GOT KINDLE 2 AND WANTED TO CHARGE IT ANYWHERE. WAS LISTEDON KINDLE 2 AS ALSO TO BUY AND PAYED HIGH PRICE FOR ITAND CAN'T USE IT BECAUSE IT DOES NOT COME WITH ANY TIPS.TIPS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. SO I USE IT AS PAPER WEIGHT. DO NOTBUY THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO DOUBLE THE COST OF WHATYOU PAY FOR THE PACKAGE BECAUSE UNLESS YOU ADD THE COST OFTIPS TO GO WITH ORIGINAL WIRE COST BECAUSE THAT IS ALL YOUGET WITH FIRST PURCHASE.
